$500 Meeting Attendance Incentive Drawing
To be eligible for the drawing, you must be a current member and attend 5 of the first 9 monthly Chapter meetings. The winner will be drawn at the 10th meeting in June and you must be present at the June meeting to win. The official record of your attendance at each meeting will be the “sign-in” sheet, so make sure you sign in!
Student members, visitors and elected Chapter officers (President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary and Delegates) will not be eligible to participate in the drawing.
Official Rules
Anyone attending the meeting will be eligible for the drawing. How does it work? Participants will purchase a ticket for $1. There is no limit to how many tickets you can buy. The guest speaker will draw the winning ticket to determine the lucky person who will draw from the deck of cards. The guest speaker at the September meeting will draw the “target” card from a new deck (this target card will be the target card for the entire 07-08 Chapter year). The “target” card will then be placed back in the deck and the deck will be shuffled 3 times. If your ticket is drawn from the basket, you will try to draw the “target” card from the deck (losing tickets will be discarded after each Chapter meeting). If you draw the “target” card, you win half of the pot (the Chapter will start the pot with $100). If you do not draw the “target” card, the pot will continue to grow each month until someone wins or the 07-08 Chapter year ends in June. When someone wins, the pot will start over at $100 and a new deck of cards will be used. In addition, each card drawn each month will be discarded from the deck and that same deck will be used at the next Chapter meeting, so your odds of winning improve each month.
This “Chance for Cash” will be at each monthly meeting held at the Francis Tuttle Reno Campus and the Safety Expo. It will not be held at the joint OKC-Tulsa meeting in November, nor will it be held at the plant tours. All proceeds from this drawing will go towards the Chapter’s endowed scholarship fund.
